Tayrilan Division of FPC
TAYRILAN manufactures SAP (super absorbent polymer) with an annual capacity of 110,000 metric tons. SAP is used for diapers and sanitary pads. It is produced by the polymerization of sodium acrylate, which can absorb urine up to 40 to 80 times its weight and remains in hydrogel form when in contact with body fluid. SAP also exhibits high water holding ability and maintains gel integrity when in contact with water.
